“Was ist Nachhaltigkeit? Wie können wir unser Verständnis erweitern und vertiefen?

Art Loft Berlin (Gerichtstr. 23, 3.HH EG) – Sa 12.09.2015 @ 19Uhr

Mit dem Emergent Berlin Festival wollen wir verschiedene Dimensionen nachhaltiger lokaler Entwicklung verbinden – die wir als persönlich, ökologisch, äesthetisch, kulturell, ökonomisch und sozial denken (siehe unser P.E.A.C.E.S. – Konzept bei IDEE). Und so freuen wir uns sehr auf Samstagabend um 19 Uhr, wo wir mit einem sehr interessantes Panel mit Denkern, Wissenschaftlern, Aktivisten und Künstlern diskutieren können, wie wir unser Verständnis von Nachhaltigkeit über die ökologische Dimension hinaus vertiefen und erweitern können. Auf dem Panel:

• Dr. Andreas Weber –  Prolific author, philosopher and academic catalyst.
The titles and descriptions of his work speak for themselves:

• Jaana Prüss – arbeitet als interdisziplinäre Kunst- und Kulturvermittlerin in Berlin, hat 2004 MORGENGRÜN Kommunikation gegründet, spezialisiert auf die Konzeption, Realisierung und Vermittlung von interdisziplinären Projekten im Bereich Kunst-, Kultur- und Zukunftsfähigkeit (Nachhaltigkeit).

Hierfür wurde sie u.a. mit dem Umweltmedienpreis der Deutschen Umwelthilfe 2010und 2011 und 2015 vom Rat für nachhaltige Entwicklung mit dem QualitätssiegelWerkstatt-N Projekt ausgezeichnet.
Seit 2013 ist sie Vorstandmitglied im und.institut für Kunst, Kultur und Zukunftsfähigkeit e.V.

• Scott Bolden – founder of Baumahus Berlin is a Designer, Artist and Engineer who came to Berlin in 2001 from Brooklyn, New York, where he acted as the chairman of the Environmental Responsibility Section of the IDSA (Industrial Designer’s Society of America) and taught at New York University, Parsons School of Design and New York School of Interior Design. He then focussed on social art projects and the idea of sustainability, especially concepts of social sustainability. He is a founder of the artist and design collective Skizum and designed and built several spaces for culture, art and community-building events.

• Dana Lee – Dana arrived in Berlin from South Korea 2 years ago seeking to find new perspectives on how to live a humane lifestyle.  She is currently involved in organizing a regular series of events on Meetup.com under the group ‘Berlin Psychology Study’ that provides a platform for people who are interested in understanding the human condition (starting with themselves) by sharing stories, experiences and methods in an open and relaxing atmosphere.[:en]

With the Emergent Berlin Festival we aim to connect various dimensions of local sustainable development, which we think as personal, ecologic, aesthetic, cultural, economic and social (check out our P.E.A.C.E.S. framwork at IDEA). So we’re very much looking forward to welcome a great panel of thinkers, activists, scientists and artists on Saturday at 7pm to discuss how to deepen and broaden our understanding of sustainability beyond it’s ecological dimension. On the panel:

[:tr]Bu seneki festivalimiz en fazla 3 farklı panele ev sahipliği yapacaktır. Bu tür panallerde duymak istediğiniz ve size ilginç gelen alanları bizimle paylaşmanızı rica ediyoruz. Panelimizi daha renkli kılmak adına panelistler ve moderator ile beraber katılımcılarımız için de konuşmaya dahil olmaları adına birkaç açık sandalye ayırdık!

İlginizi çeken bir konu ile beraber panele kimleri davet etmek istediğinizi bize gönderin. Şimdilik panel konumuz “ Sürdürülebilirliğin ekolojik boyutunun da ötesinde anlaşılması” olarak belirlenmiştir. Panelimiz için P.E.A.C.E.S. altyapısını kullanacağız.
